In 2011 Polessky State University signed 11 international cooperation agreements with the universities and other organisations from Latvia, Russia and Ukraine.

On October, 24 the representatives of DAAD, the German Agency for Academic Exchanges, made a presentation of its 2011/2012 grant programs including studies and research in Germany. The participants, students and young teachers, were also trained to fill in application forms and to write TestDaF.

On October 18-20, 2011 our university was visited by Heinz Rogge, head of organization department of Deutsche Bundesbank, and Jurgen Schpring, head of the controlling department, who delivered 3 lectures for students and teaching staff, as well as they discussed the ways of further cooperation.

The delegation of the Polessky State University consisting of 15 students and 2 professors visited the University of Applied Sciences of the German Federal Bank (Hachenburg) to participate in the seminar “The activities of central banks” (October 14-30, 2011).

The project of Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania) in the framework of Erasmus Mundus Program Action 2 Lot 8 in which the Polessky State University is an associate member has been approved by EACEA.

According to the interuniversity cooperation agreements, 7 students of the banking faculty are to study in Ukrainian universities during the autumn semester - 5 of them in the National University “Ostroh Academy” and 2 students in Lviv Institute of Banking of the National University of Banking of Ukraine.

In the academic year of 2011-2012 seven young people from Turkmenistan joined the students’ community of PolesSU, thus expanding the Turkmen diaspora to 14 members.
