The faculty was founded in 2006 to provide raising professional skills and retraining.

The main activities of the Retraining and Qualification Upgrading faculty are as follows:

- Personnel retraining on the basis of higher education;
- Upgrading the professional skills of the staff.

RETRAINING SPECIALITIES:

- BANKING (qualification – banking specialist);

- BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (qualification – manager-economist);

- COACHING (qualification – coach-teacher in either of the following sports: ice hockey, figure skating, gymnastics, and athletics).

Specialists with higher education, as well as fourth- and fifth-year students, are admitted to take courses of 18-20 months long. Form of training – part-time.

Documents are to be submitted within the following periods:

- before April 15
- before November 15

QUALIFICATION UPGRADING PROFILES:

– COMMUNICATIONS. LAW. ECONOMICS. MANAGEMENT. ECONOMICS AND ORGANIZATION OF PRODUCTION (profile ”Economics“).

– PHYSICAL CULTURE. TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY (profile ”Physical culture and sport“).

Upgrading professional skills is carried out by organising short-term courses and regular seminars aimed at introducing and disseminating the latest achievements in the related areas. Applications can be submitted all the year round, and classes are held between September 1 and July 1. The overall number of academic hours ranges from 36 to 80.

Faculty students can be provided accommodation in comfortable hostels.
